Originally from Ballarat, Laura moved to Melbourne when she was 22 years old to pursue her dream of playing football at an elite level. This dream became a reality when she was selected by The Western Bulldogs in the AFLW's inaugural 2016 draft.

Before AFLW Laura played Basketball in Ballarat in SEABL-D and represented Country Victoria at the Australian Junior Championships. Laura is also currently the only policewoman playing in the AFLW!

Laura is a huge family person, spending the majority of her time away from football with her family and close friends in Ballarat.

Laura is an extremely passionate and professional individual who thrives under pressure and in elite environments.
