Alex Keath’s fine form continues with another big score over the weekend
Fresh from landing back in the country, Alex Keath has continued his excellent form with the bat, amassing over 150 runs in two games last weekend.
Chosen to represent the Northern Mavericks in the SACA Premier League, Alex followed up a quickfire 47 in the Maverick’s Round 3 win over Papua New Guinea on Saturday with a blistering century against the Northern Territory on Sunday.
These two fine knocks back up an English summer that saw Alex dominate the Birmingham League Premier Division, finishing as the second highest run scorer in the competition and with a batting average in excess of sixty.
Competing in the oldest cricketing competition in the world, Alex scored over 1000 runs for the season and in doing so became just the 13th player in 127 years to accomplish that feat.
We hope this amazing run of form continues into the 2015/16 Australian summer and there are plenty more runs ahead.
Keep up the super work Alex!
