Belle Brockhoff has had real success at the Sunny Valley World Cup in the Ural Mountains on Sunday Feb 22. In perfect conditions, and under a cloudless sky, the track proved fast and technically demanding.

Following flawless lead-from-the-front heats, she reached the final second fastest qualifier behind Olympic champ Czech Eva Samkova. The final hit-out proved a tougher race for Belle, with Samkova taking all before her.

Belle was very happy with a silver medal as it signals improvement in her performances, culminating in her first podium finish in a World Class event, and is clear testament to the intense work she is putting in with the Aussie SnowBoard-X team in Europe this season.

Belle now flies to Korea for the event in Bokwong, Feb 26-7, then back to Veysonnaz,  Switzerland Mar 4-6.
