Ben Long was selected with St Kilda’s first pick (No. 25) in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft, following an impressive season for a handful of sides.
The Northern Territory midfielder captained his state in the division two under-18 championships, before being selected to play for the Allies in division one.
Having played predominantly through the midfield and across half-back during his underage career, Long flaunted his ability around goal in the back end of the season, cementing his status amongst this year’s draft class.
